Wolverhampton Hosts National Recovery Walk 2025 — A Day of Hope at West Park

Thousands of people marched through Wolverhampton on 13 September 2025 for the National Recovery Walk, hosted for the first time in the city. The free family event at West Park featured a two-mile march from the city centre, a Recovery Village with live entertainment, community stalls, mutual aid meetings, bhangra drumming, and art exhibitions. Director of Support Helen Dyson described being 'overwhelmed with pride', including a particularly moving moment when a young person supported by the W360 children's programme performed a rap about his family's recovery journey.
