SUIT — Service User Involvement Team
Wolverhampton, WV2 4DG
SUIT (Service User Involvement Team) is Wolverhampton's Lived Experience Recovery Organisation (LERO), operating for over 17 years alongside clinical treatment services. Every member of staff and volunteer has personal experience of addiction and recovery, giving the organisation a uniquely empathetic and credible voice in the city's recovery landscape. SUIT provides one-to-one peer support, SMART Recovery groups, women's and men's peer-led groups, the RISE Day Hab Group, and the Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG). Wraparound support covers housing, benefits, debt, employment, and cultural engagement — including dedicated outreach projects for Punjabi, Polish, and Afro-Caribbean communities. SUIT received the Queen's Award for Voluntary Services in 2014 and has been recognised as a European best-practice model for peer-led recovery.
