The Good Shepherd
Wolverhampton, WV1 4QU
The Good Shepherd Ministry has been supporting the most disadvantaged people in Wolverhampton since its founding roots in 1972, when the Little Brothers of the Good Shepherd established a night shelter in the city. Today the charity runs a day centre offering hot meals, showers, and crisis support; a Housing First service for rough sleepers; private sector supported lettings; and the LEAP (Lived Experience into Action) programme providing peer support and volunteering opportunities. The organisation's values — hospitality, compassion, truth, justice, and respect — underpin everything from its Pomegranate Café and Central Community Shop to its multi-agency hub connecting guests with health, training, employment, and financial wellbeing services.
